You Can Know For Sure Today. |
|
If you were to suddenly die at this very moment, do you know beyond any shadow of a doubt that you would go to Heaven?
Would you like to know . . . to be 100% sure that you would go to Heaven?
There are many churches and religions who say they can tell us the way, but why not go to the One who created heaven and read how from God Himself who rules heaven. God says in His own words to us we can go to heaven if we will believe and accept His promises to us.
Are you willing to believe and accept what God says in the Bible about heaven and what is His plan to have us live eternally with Him. Let's let the Bible explain this to us:
You might ask "Isn't everyone going to heaven anyway?" The answer is no, because heaven is a perfect place without sin. But the Bible tells us that we are all sinners:
The first thing we must do is realize that we are sinners each guilty before our righteous Creator. It does not matter who we may be; intelligent, rich, poor, weak, strong, popular or unpopular, we are all guilty before God. God says:
Sin came into the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and with it came the penalty of sin which is death. Because we all have sinned we are under the penalty of death.
It is an inescapable fact of life . . . we all die. This penalty for sin is not only talking about physical death (which we all know we will one day face), but also it means eternal death in what the Bible says is a literal Lake of Fire.
Most people know about God, that He is love. . . but He is also holy and righteous meaning that He is totally separated from sin and He must do right and judge sin.
If God were to allow one sin to go unjudged, at that point, He would become just as guilty of sin as the sinner. He cannot do that and must always be true to His own righteous nature.
God is perfectly just to judge us for our sins, which each of us are definitely guilty. Each of us deserve the death penalty for our sins.
But God, who is Love, provided a way to be saved from the penalty of our sins. He has provided His wonderful Gift of Salvation, which means Eternal Life, by allowing His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ to pay the penalty we owe.
(John 3:16)
Jesus Has already paid the penalty for our sins. He died on the cross for you and paid for your salvation.
This is the "Good News" referred to as the Gospel in the Bible. God has already provided the only way for you to be saved through the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son Jesus.
We cannot earn or merit God's salvation. It is a free gift offered to us. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:8-10).
That means salvation is not something we work for or earn by good works, church membership, baptism, etc. It is a Free Gift from God to all who will believe Him and receive it.
Right now God is speaking to your heart. He certainly loves you and wants you to be in Heaven with Him after you die. Would you believe Him and trust His promises to you? Would you right now pray and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and give you eternal life? God promises:
We would like to know if you have asked God to save you. It would be encouraging to us and we would like to help further if we can. Would you write or call?
"As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one . . .for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:10,23).
Because there are none righteous in God's eyes and because we all have sinned and "come short" of God's perfect standard, none of us can get to Heaven on our own merit. We are all guilty before our Holy and Righteous Creator. God explains this:"For whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all" (James 2:10).
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord had laid on Him (Jesus Christ) the iniquity of us all" (Isaiah 54:6).
God tells us: "Wherefore, as by one man sin (Adam) entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" (Romans 5:12)
"And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Revelation 20:14).
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"
". . . I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).
"But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many" (Romans 5:15).
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation . . . For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
(Romans 10:9-10, 13)
